Working Student Software Development (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Working on the development of our software SCOPE for the automation of Satellite Laser Ranging Stations
  • Support creating detailed technical specifications, system designs and functional and non-functional software requirements
  • Development of new software components for e.g., space debris tracking
  • Development of software solutions starting with the requirements up to the validation/verification in real stations

Your profile

  • You have a deep understanding of the fundamentals of software development – your focus lies on C / C++ und Python and Linux
  • You are comfortable with Git and ideally know cmake and MQTT
  • You are experienced with Qt Framework or hardware-oriented software-development
  • You have a fascination for technology, development and softwaredesign and mathematical affinity
  • You would describe yourself as self-directed and responsible
  • You are familiar with agile software development (Scrum or Kanban e.g.)
  • You are mindful, transparent and empathetic towards your teammates
