Concept

NUBE is a seismic data logger designed for the high-resolution acquisition of seismic signals and other geophysical parameters. Analog sensor signals are digitized and stored as precisely time-referenced measurement data for subsequent analysis.

With its built in GNSS modules with internal and external GNSS antenna and internal battery compartment, the NUBE is the ideal companion for short term campaigns. 

The robust and ultra-compact, all-round data recorder can be operated for up to two weeks by the power of only two D-cells and is therefore ideally suited for active seismic measurements.

Furthermore the NUBE is optimally equipped for measurements in deep tunnels or caves, due to the possibility of both internal or external power supply.

The concept and design of the NUBE is the result of years of expertise by scientists and engineers from seismic installations and handling experience in the field.

 

A great flexibility allows satisfying specific customer requirements by offering the NUBE in different configurations and for sensors.

 

A constantly high quality of the product is achieved by a well-proven production chain and controlled by regular comprehensive inspections.

The NUBE is the perfect stand-alone 3-channel seismic data logger when it comes to robustness, reliability and handling. The concept and design is the result of years of expertise by scientists and engineers from seismic installations and handling experience under rough field conditions.

Data Retrieval in the Field

The NUBE is ideally suited for field installations to reliably record seismic data for post-processing. A key feature of NUBE is simplified data retrieval. Measurement data are stored on removable storage media and can be extracted directly. This significantly reduces the time required for on-site data collection, particularly when handling large data volumes. This method of data retrieval is a targeted complement to existing solutions and is especially advantageous when:

  • Measurement stations are located in remote or hard-to-access areas
  • Only short maintenance or access windows are available
  • A large number of measurement points or devices are operated simultaneously
  • A large number of measurement points or devices are operated simultaneously Deployments take place in high mountain regions, polar environments, or mining operations
