The zip-archive "CubeMonitor.zip" contains the Windows program "CubeMonitor.exe" and a driver installation file "CDM v2.10.00 WHQL Certified.exe" to connect a Cube and a PC/laptop by a FTDI TTL-232R-3V3 cable. The program "Monitor.exe" is intended to - display Cube boot process (when connected before power on) - display Cube registration data in real time - show peak-to-peak amplitude values - select different highpass filters (recommended for viewing broadband registrations). The program directory has to contain the corresponding configuration file (config.txt) when connecting to the running Cube. Using "CubeMonitor.exe" requires the connection of the Cube terminal port and a PC/laptop via a special (black) cable (FTDI TTL-232R-3V3). Before connecting the Cube terminal port and a PC/laptop for the first time the appropriate device drivers have to be installed. They are part of the zip-archive "CubeMonitor.zip" but can also be downloaded from manufacturer's website http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/D2XX.htm. To install the drivers execute "CDM v2.10.00 WHQL Certified.exe" with administrator rights. Program handling - Start "CubeMonitor.exe", no installation procedure is required. - Select serial port (check hardware manager for USB serial port) - Choose "HighPass" or "RST Offset" if necessary. - Press "Start" Please note: - before using "CubeMonitor.exe" the CUBE must record GPS once (red & blue LED are blinking in a 1 sec interval). Afterwards the CUBE can loose the time signal (in case you work in a location without GPS reception).
